I picked up the latestest issue of Knitscene last Tuesday and started the Kimono socks that night. I think they are absolutely adorable, and they are one of the main reasons I got the magazine. I have the rib stitching and 27 pattern rows done on the first sock, but got sidetracked trying to finish a crochet afghan and a small gift for my dad's birthday. I should be back to them within short order, however. I like making socks.
I have yet to make my first pair of socks- but I love that pattern! They're really unusual. I know what you mean about trying to finish stuff and getting interrupted- I have 4 things OTN right now that I am needing to finish for things coming up.
