Buck’s original Father Christmas, I knew I had to try to re-create him.

Finished Size: About 18 inches (46 cm) tall and 9½" (24 cm) wide from hand to hand.
Yarn: Brown Sheep Nature Spun Sport
Weight, 100% wool yarn, 184 yards (177 m)/50 g ball, 1 ball each of
#N48 Scarlet, #601 Pepper, #N91 Aran, and #730 Natural.
Needles: Size 3 (3.25) 24-inch (60-cm) circular and one set of four size 3 (3.25 mm) double-pointed or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Markers, tapestry needle, stitch holders (2 small), fiberfill stuffing, black tea, 1 cup (to dye face and hands).
Gauge: 14 sts and 20 rows or rnds = 2 inches (5.1 cm) in stockinette stitch.
Skill level: Intermediate.
