  1. Choosing just one color is a major challenge. But I think I would go with #67 Var Green. (And wouldn’t you know, after I went back to the page to verify the color number I changed my mind!)

  2. I’m just starting to love crocheting, I have not made too many crochet projects yet, I’ve been knitting daily for a few years now. It would be a treat to have a project like this to create. Pick me, please!

  3. I love #29 Steel Blue! It would make a great looking purse! Thanks for the opportunity to try Omega’s nylon thread. I hope I win! I had never thought of using Omega thread until now.

  4. The bags are great! I think I like color #39 Brick best. The varigated colors are interesting, too, though, especially #67 var green and #69 var gray.
Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

  5. I love #28 Dk Magenta, and also the #9 Purple. Can’t get enough of purple! I started to make a crochet cord purse once. Don’t recall what ever became of it, but I loved the pattern. I would LOVE to win the #28 to make something new!!! Thank you for the opportunity! Happy Valentine’s Day!!!

  6. What a presentation! Everything was so clear and so precise. Even someone such as I with head injuries could understand, and visualize the method and finished product. The material is beautiful, and I would love to make one in Colour Number 68. The deep blues would be so elegant.

  7. I’d love a show like this in the UK …. personally I would find it hard to choose between 56 multi red and 57 multi confetti … but then again, I love yarn and cannot get enough of it 😀 …

  8. I would love to win the Hot Pink! What a great bright spring purse that would make! I bought red recently and picked up a pattern at Hobby Lobby on a vacation trip, so I’m looking forward to creating something that I’ll have for years!

  9. I LOVE crocheting or knitting bags. I had ot practice the crocheted handle the minute I saw the video. It’s a great technique. Its hard to choose one color with all the available choices, but I’m partial to blue, either 22 or 23. But I might want to experiment with one of the multi colors, say 34.

  10. I would LOVE to win the Omega nylon thread! It is so hard to pick just one color but I would choose #71 Var. Wine! It is gorgeous and would make such a beautiful purse. Crossing my fingers that I win! Thanks for having the contest and thanks for the episode!

  11. What a beautiful bag! I like the idea of using nylon to make a durable tote. And if it is going to last a llifetime then it would have to be WINE. I love the many color choices of this thread but dark red will always be my favorite.

  12. I’m torn between the versatility of something like sienna, and the festive nature of the multi orange. Though the more I think about it, the more I think I’d appreciate something fun-looking rather than utilitarian. Multi-orange (#59) it is!

  13. I love the richness of the Goldenrod color and how it would go with just about anything I was wearing. I think it would be great for making the bag so I would be able to use it all the time!

  14. I’d probably have to go with sandstone – it’s neutral enough to go with pretty much anything, dark enough to not show much dirt, light enough to show stitch patterns well, and pretty interesting as neutrals go.

  15. I would love to win this nylon yarn to make one of the purses and I would make it in #34–Multi Blue. I especially like the way the handle is made as it looks so professional.

  16. How can you ask me to choose just one? I love the Royal Blue #21, #70, #68, and #35. Two are varigated in shades of blue and pink, and the other 2 are my favorite solid colors at the moment.

  17. The timing of this is great for me, as I only just finished the final details on my first purse/bag and am ready to begin planning for the next one or two. Although I’ve never worked with nylon before, I can see instantly how perfect a fiber it would be for the handle [in particular] as well as the main body of the bag/purse. [43 Sandstone caught my eye first.] I may have to watch that video a couple times to see the horizontal stitch Kristen is referring to for that tube-handle, but I love the look and obvious strength it presents.

  18. I would pick the lt blue variegated nylon thread – because blue is my favorite color and I love to see what sorts of patterns the variegation makes in the fabric. If I could choose a second, I would pick the bright purple for a project bag I could always find.

  20. I especially like the way the Host illustrates the technique for achieving the wonderful spiral handle for the bags I like the knitted bag only because it seems to have a longer, lower profile but it’s very likely at some point that I’ll have to make both. Congratulations. They sound like versatile, useful bags.

  21. Win some thread! Why not? Sounds easy, just pick a color. Then, the colors, and what colors there are. How to choose ONE? I’ve looked them over several times and changed my mind each time. If I HAD to choose, I guess the multi-blue would be fun to play with. Thanks for the new site for ideas,

  22. It’s hard to pick one single color, all of them look beautiful. Narrowing it down tho, i would have to pick #68, varigated blue. It goes with the colors I’ve been working on!

  23. I will pick #34. the multi-blue if I win the nylon thread. If not, I’ll have to buy some, because I like several of the purses on the Creative Yarn Source web site.

  24. OH MY I am I glad I devoted some quiet Sunday time to carefully reading my knitting emails. I LOVE this material for bags. I can already picture my bag made with color numbers…….21, 29, 22 & 80………..the colors that scream summer to me.

  25. Love the crocheted Cosmopolitan Bag. Great idea for the handles. I can’t wait to make one for myself and one for my daughter. I would love to have the navy blue nylon thread.

  26. WOW this is awesome!
What a fantastic bag to take to the pool! No need to worry if someone splashes it!
My favorite color is blue, any shade is fine, although I am partial to aqua!!

  27. I’ve never seen nylon thread before! It sounds like great stuff. I can think of a bunch of things that would be nice for: bags, coasters, cup sleeves, phone caddies, soft bowls. The list is nearly endless! Thank you so much for the how-to. Can hardly wait to find some for myself.
If I am picked, I would love some varigated or some bright green thread.

    Thanks so much!

  28. I would love to make a purse and I have the time to do it. I am visiting my daughter and son in law out of state. They are both in the US Navy and since they had to go back to work I am being the granny nanny for the baby. I think the variegated red with a blue lining would be stunning for the upcoming memorial day, and4th of july holidays.

  29. That’s a great technique! I’m always looking for ways to make sturdy but pretty straps for my bags, and this is a winner. I’d love to try it with the variegated brown thread.

  30. I would love either a golden bronze (metallic) or a primarily red/orange variegated. I love the look of the finished bag and the pattern does not look too complicated.

  31. I’d like the color 71 var wine.

So happy to see great nylon thread in beautiful colors is available for crochet and knit. I tried crocheting a shopping bag out of hot pink nylon thread from the hardware store. It doesn’t work, it’s not the same as that meant for crafts.

  32. I like many of the colors, but I would like the new lilac color.

I can get some of the colors at the local Hobby Lobby, but I didn’t know there were this many colors. I have made several purses using this nylon thread. It also works well to tie up garden plants. The hot pink color makes it really easy to see through the leaves.

  33. i love this thread. i am currently making broomstick lace belts with it. it is strong, shiny and fun to work with. omega actually makes my favorite cotton as well.

anyway, no matter how many things i knit or crochet in OLIVE, it’s never enough. i can’t help it. it’s my favorite.

  34. This sounds like a great project and I think I’ll due to make something for myself this time.so I’d choose purple. The colot looks gorgeous and will make a nice spring bag. Thanks for the opportunity!

  35. I love this show, I am a crocheter who wants to knit, cannot tell you how many of your patterns I’ve downloaded. Now just to get busy. If I win, I would like the Bronze or Sandstone Color.

  36. Pick me! Pick me! 🙂 I would choose color … 9 purple …. 28 drk magenta ….. 24 lt green …. 35 drk green …… &/or 40 bronze. I think those would be beautiful together but what do I know – just that I would love them!

  37. Loved this idea…will find the patterns and choose one soon. Love the instructions on the handle easy to follow….I love the idea of the nylon thread….after I do the work the purse will last…..hurray.
