Knitted Strawberries

Finished Size 3 3/4" circumference at widest part and 2 1/4" high (not including stem).

Yarn Spud and Chloë Sweater (55% super­wash wool, 45% organic cotton; 160 yd [146 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]): #7518 barn (red, MC), #7502 grass or #7514 turtle (green, CC), 1 skein each (see Notes). Yarn distributed by Blue Sky Alpacas.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if neces­sary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); tapestry needle; stuff­ing (see Notes).

Gauge 19 sts and 26 rnds = 4" in St st after stuffing.

Work these Knitted Strawberries in the round from the bottom up, then sew on a crown of leaves. You can get about twenty berries from one skein of the main color!
