I have just started this – and seem to have a problem.  It says to cast on 69 stitches and that pattern is 5 stitches of garter on each side (thus leaving 59 stitches for pattern) yet the chart repeat is for 12, thus 5 repeats….so there is one stitch short!   Am I not reading the chart correctly or is there is a pattern error?

    Just to check, the chart calls for the first row to be:

    yarn over (no stitch in action)

    purl 4, purl 3 together, purl 4, (this then has taken care of 11 stitches) then y/o then knit 1…this makes 12 stitches.  

    Can anyone clarify?  Thanks, HR
