These intermediate fingerless mitts are worked in the round with a lace pattern. The lace charts are easy to work.

Yarn Dream in Color Classy (100% superwash merino; 250 yd [229 m]/113 g):
• #270 lipstick lava, 1 skein
Gauge 26 sts and 34 rows = 4" in St st and charted patt
• Size 5 (3.75 mm) double-pointed needles (dpn)
• Markers (m)
• Waste yarn
• Yarn needle

  1. The pattern is in Knitscene Fall 2009. They are easy to knit and look great. …they would make a great gift. I used Paton’s Classic Wool (about 2/3 of a ball). I may try an I-cord bind-off on the next pair.


  2. This is my first lace pattern to try I have gotten all the way to the thumb and had to pull it out. I love the pattern but seems I am having trouble with the thumb part. You can buy the book it is well worth the pattern. It’s so pretty. So can anyone help me with the thumb not sure what I did wrong.!! Cher
