  1. I would love to make this but cannot locate a retailer who carries this yarn. I could see no way to order it on the Vijay Fibers web site. Can anyone help?

  2. Hi Reginalatinae,

please call us at 678-909-4963 or let me know which state you live in and I can contect you to the nearest VijayFibers distributor.

  3. How can you publish a pattern with a yarn and not give where this yarn can be purchased?  Or at least a substitute. I would think that whoever made this shawl out of this yarn would want to sell the yarn.  This is one of my main complaints because I live in California and many of your knitted items call for wool which is too warm for Southern California.  Could you at least give a substitute.

  4. I am knitting this.  In fact, I restarted the left triangle a second time.   I started with row 1 as the wrong side.  I am having difficulty ready my pattern in my knitting.  In fact, I really don’t see any pattern that makes any sense.  I am wondering how one can have  such a vertical pattern as seen on the chart when the row moves.  I am consistently moving my markers two stitches to the left on the wrong sideof each row of this project..  Am I doing something wrong or has the pattern omitted something?

  5. I was having the same problem as elyssa. I started twice then decided to swatch with bigger needles and wool so that I could really see what was going on. The twisted stitches still weren’t lining up right. It was a mess. The whole time I was very annoyed that the wrong side rows we’re being read right to left and the k2togs and ssks were slanting wrong. Finally it dawned on me. You work the WS rows left to right and the RS rows right to left, just like any other pattern. I don’t know if this was elyssa’s issue, but if I can save anyone else this crazy error I would be happy!  I’ve knit a lot of lace and couldn’t believe I was having such a time with something that didn’t look that hard. Duh.

  6. Elizabeth 53, if you click on the “go there now” button above you can order the Summer 2013 issue of Interweave Knits if you can’t find it in a local store.  You’ll find the pattern in this issue
