Converge Pullover

Finished Size 33½ (37½, 41½, 46, 50)" bust circumference (see Notes). Pullover shown measures 33½", modeled with ½" of negative ease.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Wool Clàsica (100% wool; 138 yd [126 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #55 olive, 5 (6, 7, 9, 10) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Size 13 (9 mm): straight and 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); removable m; stitch holder; tapestry needle.

Gauge 11½ sts and 18 rows = 4" in St st.

Chunky hemmed edges and a trio of drop-stitch columns at the bust give a deconstructed edge to this pullover. Piece is knit flat and seamed.

  1. I ordered the very pricey Manos for this but decided to do it in a less expensive yarn for a trial run. Glad I did because I’m already confused about the “Note” which says “For larger sizes….read the foll section all the way through…

    Well, I’m not making a larger size, so how much of the “following section” do I skip? Nor am I clear on the bit about moving the markers as described in “Notes” (not to be confused with “Note” as discussed above).

    The second bullet point says to shift the markers out on rt side rows which I am doing, but can’t really see why?  Not sure it matters, though.  Also, I don’t get the first bullet point AT ALL, but I don’t think that one matters since I rarely look at schematics anyway. 🙂
