Yarn Swans Island Organic Washable DK (100% merino; 140 yd [128 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): verdigris, 11 (12, 14, 17, 19) skeins.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; waste yarn for provisional CO; tapestry needle; five 1 1/8" buttons.

Gauge 19 sts and 41 rows = 4" in Bee st; 36 sts and 41 rnds = 4" in Slip St Rib.

The Bee Stitch Cardigan is a study in textures—the body features a fisherman-rib pattern called bee stitch, the fitted sleeves showcase a stretchy slipped-stitch ribbing, and the body is edged in I-cord.
