Finished Size 35 1/4 (37 1/2, 39 3/4, 41 3/4, 44, 46 1/4, 48 1/4)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35 1/4", modeled with 11/4" of positive ease.

Yarn HiKoo Kenzie (50% New Zealand merino, 25% nylon, 10% angora, 10% alpaca, 5% silk noils; 160 yd [146 m]/1 3/4 oz [50 g]): #1000 pavlova, 8 (8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11) skeins. Yarn distributed by Skacel.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" and 40" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 22 sts and 31 rnds = 4" in Waffle patt.

  1. I just completed the gauge & I do do think the chart for the waffle pattern is correct.  The verticals are low (knit), the horizontals high (purl)… the chart is not drawn that way.

  6. to continue…. The chart is 9 rows… it needs to be 18 so the pattern does not reverse as my swatch did…. 1-9 ( RS) rows 9-18 (WS) and back again, interesting pattern, but not correct.  {Knitting row 9 then begin chart again @ row 1 (same direction!!)}. My swatch folds up neatly like an accordian blind!! LOL
