Poudre Socks

Sock Knitting PatternThe Poudre Socks by Ann Budd are part of the Interweave Knits Fall 2016 Premiere Pattern Pack. The pattern can be purchased with the Premiere Pattern Pack or individually at www.interweavestore.com.

Interweave Knits and sock design have gone hand in hand for the past twenty years. The standard gift for such a milestone anniversary is platinum, which represents strength and stability. The Poudre Socks fit the bill—the yarn is a strong combination of wool, alpaca, acrylic, and viscose, and the tight gauge gives them great stability. The socks are worked from the top down in a cable pattern that’s both easy and interesting to knit.
