This reversible knit is perfect for the adventurous new knitter or the seasoned veteran. The Schoolwalk Cap is a double-knit hat adorned with earflaps; the designs are reflected on both sides of the work.

Difficulty Level: Expert

Finished Size 16¾ (18¼, 19½, 21)” circumference. Hat shown measures 18¼”.

Yarn Great Lakes Yarn Co. Divine DK (100% superwash merino wool; 231 yd [211 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): scotch pine (green; A) and hot fudge cream puff (brown; B), 1 skein each.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16″ circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle.

Gauge 20 st-pairs and 29 rnds = 4″ in double knitting patt.
