The Hat Stocking

Stocking Knitting PatternThe Hat Stocking  by Linda Ligon is featured in Interweave Knits Holiday 2016 and can be purchased with the magazine or as an individual pattern.

The Hat Stocking is an interpretation of the stocking illustrated in The Hat by Jan Brett (New York: G.P. Putnam’s Sons, 1997). In the book, the stocking is sported as a hat by a curious hedgehog; in our interpretation, the “hat” has been made into a Christmas stocking, into which you could tuck a copy of The Hat for Christmas morning.
