HEPBURN PULLOVER

Spiraling cables travel up a mock turtle neck in this cozy women's pullover. Piece is knit top down and in the round.

Finished Size 35¾ (39½, 43¼, 48, 52¾, 56½)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35¾ ", modeled with moderate ease.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Maxima (100% merino; 219 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #M2145 coral, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" and 32" circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); cable needle (cn); waste yarn; tapestry needle.

Gauge 17 sts and 26 rnds = 4" in St st; 6 sts of Turtleneck and Cuff chart = 1¼" wide.

Empyrean Tunic

A top-down seamless yoke pullover is worked in laceweight yarn on large needles. With allover cables, the fabric is airy and open. Short-rows raise the back neck.

Aran Necklace Camisole

This tank is worked from the center back neck down. The straps and yoke are worked as one piece from side to side with dense cables. The stockinette body is picked up along the yoke and strap in two pieces and worked down with short-rows, then joined in the round and the lower body is worked in one piece to the hem.

CORRECTION -

The placement of the second left-front gusset marker on page 60 is incorrect and should be relocated from Row 43 to the first strap decrease row as follows:

Page 60, instruction for Row 43 starting at bottom of second column and continuing at top of third column:

After "16 sts," delete "mark beg of this row to indicate 2nd end of pick-up for left-front gusset."

Page 60, third column, line above Row 1:

This should read, "Dec for left strap as foll." The reference to the right strap is incorrect.

Page 60, third column, Row 1:

After "13 sts," insert "mark beg of this row to indicate 2nd end of pick-up for left-front gusset."
