DOWNTON PULLOVER

A full peter pan collar, buttoned cuffs, and an all-over honeycomb pattern give sophisticated appeal to this tailored pullover. Piece is worked circularly and back and forth, with collar attached separately.

Finished Size 35½ (39¼, 43¼, 48¼, 52¼)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35½", modeled with moderate ease.

Yarn Classic Elite Yarns Fresco (60% wool, 30% baby alpaca, 10% angora; 164 yd [150 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #5346 mallard blue (MC), 4 (6, 7, 8, 8) balls; #5345 taupe (CC), 3 (4, 4, 5, 6) balls.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 3 (3.25 mm): 32" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; size D (3.25 mm) crochet hook; ten ¼" buttons.

Gauge 25 sts and 25 rows = 4" in charted patt on larger needles.

BIG TILE PULLOVER

A bold mosaic-inspired design decorates the front of this sweater. The colors are classic, but the short sleeves, chunky yarn, and thick cowl neck are utterly modern. Piece is worked in the round from the bottom up.

Finished Size 33¼ (36, 38¾, 40, 44, 46¾, 49¼, 52)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 36", modeled with moderate ease.

Yarn Brown Sheep Company Nature Spun Chunky (100% wool; 155 yd [142 m]/7 oz [200 g]): #N91C Aran (MC) 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 6) skeins; #110 blueberry (CC1) and #145 salmon (CC2), 1 skein each.

Needles Size 10½ (6.5 mm): 16" and 32" circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Size 10 (6 mm): 32" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
