Twisted stitches sharply define a sophisticated herringbone texture while bobbles act as faux buttons. Mittens are knit top down using the magic loop method.

Finished Size 8" hand circumference and 10¼" long.

Yarn Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted (100% superwash merino wool; 225 yd [206 m]/4 oz [113 g]): harvest, 1 skein.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; contrasting waste yarn.

Gauge 32 sts and 32 rows = 4" in chart patt (rep Rows 17-24, ignoring thumb placement).

Lace, cables, and bobbles, combine with a chunky yarn for a neckwarmer both warm and feminine. Can be worn as a scarf or cowl.

Finished Size About 11" wide and 70" long.
Yarn Blue Sky Alpacas Bulky (50% alpaca, 50% wool; 45 yd [41 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #1215 claret, 5 skeins.
Needles Size 15 (10 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
