PETIT FOUR PULLOVER

A top down raglan sweater embellished with feminine quilted detail can be dressed up or down. An indulgent laceweight gives gauzy texture to the lace panels in this pretty pullover. Use a bright yarn for a pop of color, or try tone-on-tone yarn for a subtler look.

Finished Size 31¾ (33¾, 38¼, 42½, 46¼, 50¾ )" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 33¾", modeled with minimal ease.

Yarn Filatura Di Crosa Zara (100% extra fine superwash merino; 137 yd [125 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #1773 latti (MC), 9 (9, 11, 13, 15, 17) balls. Filatura Di Crosa Golden Line Superior (70% cashmere, 25% silk, 5% extrafine merino; 328 yd [300 m]/⅞ oz [25 g]): #62 mango (CC), 1 ball. Yarn distributed by Tahki-Stacy Charles Inc.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 32" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); waste yarn; tapestry needle; five 5⁄8" buttons.

HEPBURN PULLOVER

Spiraling cables travel up a mock turtle neck in this cozy women's pullover. Piece is knit top down and in the round.

Finished Size 35¾ (39½, 43¼, 48, 52¾, 56½)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 35¾ ", modeled with moderate ease.

Yarn Manos del Uruguay Maxima (100% merino; 219 yd [200 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #M2145 coral, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 9) skeins. Yarn distributed by Fairmount Fibers.

Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): 16" and 32" circulars (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

GRETEL'S MITTENS

Twisted stitches sharply define a sophisticated herringbone texture while bobbles act as faux buttons. Mittens are knit top down using the magic loop method.

Finished Size 8" hand circumference and 10¼" long.

Yarn Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted (100% superwash merino wool; 225 yd [206 m]/4 oz [113 g]): harvest, 1 skein.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 32" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

A classic textured hat with a tactile chevron texture. Hat is worked from the top down using an invisible cast on.

Finished Size 20" brim circumference, with ribbing stretched.

Yarn The Fibre Company Road to China (65% baby alpaca, 15% silk, 10% camel, 10% cashmere; 69 yd [63 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): blue tourmaline, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Kelbourne Woolens.

Needles Body-size 8 (5 mm): 16" circular (cir) and set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Brim-size 6 (4 mm): 16" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
