YARN Cascade Yarns Venezia Worsted (70% merino wool, 30% silk; 219 yd [200 m]/31⁄2 oz [100 g]): #178 deep sea (blue-green), 5 (6, 6, 7, 7) skeins.
NEEDLES Size 6 (4 mm): 24" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers (m); cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
GAUGE 21 sts and 27 rnds = 4" in St st; 24 sts = 4" in cable patt.
