Honeycomb-Collar Pullover

A thick double cable gives snuggly warmth to a bulky pullover. The deep funnel neck and boxy shape give a mod silhouette to a classic knit.

FINISHED SIZE 383⁄4 (423⁄4, 463⁄4, 511⁄2, 56)" bust circumference. Pullover shown measures 383⁄4".
YARN Rowan Cocoon (80% merino wool, 20% kid mohair; 126 yd [115 m]/31⁄2 oz [100 g]): #00806 frost (beige), 8 (9, 10, 11, 12) balls. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.
NEEDLES Size 101⁄2 (6.5 mm): 32-47" circular (cir), depending on size you are making; Size 9 (5.5 mm): Two spare cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; crochet hook size H/8 (5 mm); waste yarn.
GAUGE 14 sts and 19 rnds = 4" in St st on larger needle.

A simple, cropped pullover is worked up in a tweedy, bulky yarn. Piece is knit flat with raglan shaping and seamed.

FINISHED SIZE 381⁄2 (43, 461⁄2, 50, 541⁄2, 58)" bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 43".
YARN Berroco Lodge (47% wool, 47% nylon, 6% rayon; 98 yd [90 m]/13⁄4 oz [50 g]): #7433 Mount Hood, 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11) balls.
NEEDLES Body and sleeves-size 10 (6 mm): straight. Neckband-size 8 (5 mm): 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Marker (m); stitch holders.
GAUGE 14 sts and 20 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles.
