you show beautiful items, like the Lucy Hat, but you suck us into joining the site and then don't have the pattern.

This is so misleading and manipulative. I agree with other people, I don't want a hard copy. I'll go to Ravelry and probably never come bach here again.

Believe me, I will spread the word of what you do to people.

I have the exact same question as Jacksz32, about whether to pick up the wrapped stitches after every short row or, as the pattern says, only after completing all of the shrot rows.

Jacksz32 asked back in December 2012 so I have a feeling questions won't be answered here anytime soon.

It doesn't hurt that the model is a stunning lady, but this is just plain classy, timeless, & charming. I can't wait to try it. I say try because I'm still new to anything not square or rectangular ;)

My apologies for the delay in getting some of your questions answered! I hope I've cleared up many of these with the additional information I’ve added about where to get this pattern (just under the main picture above). I am also pleased to tell you all that the individual pattern is now up in the store. Enjoy the lovely Lucy Hat!

I knit this 2x.  The first hat using the 20" directions on sz 6's was way too big even going 5" before the dec around.  Thank goodness because knitting to 5¼" would have drowned me.  5" already covers my ears and I have a 22" circ head.

Then I used a sz 5 using the small size (20") directions and it came out better fitting.  My advise is to use a US 5!

See Lucy Hat page 25 in the link below.  The magazine is $7.99 per issue.  I wonder if I can find the pattern book at the fabric store?  It's 2012.

So frustrated! I've tried to download the electronic version of Knitscene several times now and cannot get it to go through. Why is my user id and password from this site not valid in the store? I really want this pattern. :-(

For those looking for this pattern.  Click the "go there now" button to purchase the magazine with the pattern in it.

Once I have completed the short rows, how many stitches should I have on the needle for that section?

Check out this Cat Bordhi video for an excellent tutorial on wrapping and turning. I use this method all the time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yVikAvPuE4.

Short-Row 3 should read: K 1 past previously wrapped stitch, wrap next st, turn.

Hi everyone.  I've been knititing for 6 years but have always stuck to uncomplicated patterns so I have a question about these short rows; are we supposed to pick up the wrapped stitches as we knit back and forth?  The pattern doesn't expressly state that the wrapped stitches should be picked up in the short row instructions but does specify to pick up wrapped stitches just before the change to CC...is picking up wrapped stitches an unspoken given?  I've spent a few hours reading and watching youtube videos on short rows and wrapping stitches but have yet to find an answer to my question.  I'm inclined to think that yes, the stitches do need to be picked up but since I've never wrapped before I'm hesitant to do something that's not written in the pattern.

Thanks in advance!

I think, may be wrong, that the errata, may be the "Clarification for the short rows" on Ravelry....not sure, I can't find anything either.

Has anyone at Interweave been kind enough to answer any of the questions asked by the people on the blog?  I find that some blogs don't bother to answer their members questions, which is frustrating especially when a lot of members will pay to purchase a pattern they like.  Makes one want to erase Interweave from their computer.

Can you put a link to this pattern??  I can't find it either!

The Ravelry page says that there is an errata for this pattern, but I can't find it. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

wouldn't this make a FANTASTIC chemo cap?  Esp if knitted in a merino/silk blend?
