@melissaoliver: I saw this note on someone's Ravelry project page, perhaps it will help you... "Just note that after you knit with the yarn double, you then treat each strand as a separate stitch." Maybe that's why you're coming up with half the leaves?

im trying to do the graph on page 84. i start with 12 stitches like im supposed to but keep coming up with only 2 leaf shapes on top of the hat instead of 4 like is shown. is there a typo or am i messing up somewhere? ive started over 3 times now and i am definetly following the pattern to a T. please help. thanks so much.
