The gothic architecture of Reykjavik, Iceland's Hallgrim Church inspires the twisted stitch lines of this hat. A perfect unisex gift with matching mittens.

Finished Size 19¼" circumference, 7" tall.

Yarn Filatura Di Crosa Sportwool (100% virgin wool; 136 yd [125 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #1681 teal heather, 2 skeins (3 skeins will make both hat and mittens). Yarn distributed by Tahki-Stacy Charles Inc.

Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm): 16" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Marker (m); cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; contrasting waste yarn.

Gauge 32 sts and 32 rows = 4" in twisted rib patt.

Regarding my last comment: someone on Ravelry pointed me in the right direction and said the pattern is correct. I'm not sure why it says "Errata available" on the Ravelry page, that's what confused me!

I just started this hat today and believe there is an error in the chart. Shouldn't the pattern repeat be in multiples of 14 and not 15? CO is 154, and that would fit 11 repeats of 14. 15 does not fit anywhere. Please post a corrected chart. Thank you!
