I am just alittle confused by the number of cast on.

Since it is double yarn and cast on 112 is that equal 224 stitches

or is it cast on total of 112 stitches?

I appreciate a response as I don't want to make adjustments once the

ribbing is knitted.

thank you

This design looks very cute.

I have a couple reservations about it, though. Worked in the suggested yarn, the design looks chunky for such a delicate inset. Also, I notice the model's arms are pressed tightly against the armholes in every photo except one. In that one photo, she's lifted her left arm away from her side and the resulting armhole, that which I can see, seems kind of big and floppy compared to the right side.
