I've created this rabbit potholder for myself.  I've always loved rabbits, as wild animals and in children's stories (Velveteen Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland), just not as pets.  I tried to make it not too Easterish, since I plan to use it year around.

I couldn't find the right color of yarn to go with the soft plum/mauve yarn (Lily calls this yarn color 'Lilac') so I took some of Lily's 'Off White' yarn and experimented with tea and coffee staining.

It took extra steps of work, but I think the subtle undulating of shades of beige and light browns work well.  It sort of adds more dimension and the cream color reminds me of old parchment paper which plays up the old folklore style of the rabbit.

Yes I have this pattern ready for sale.    Right now my website doesn't have a shopping cart, but that's in the future plans.

If anyone else, is interested in this pattern, please contact me here on knitting daily or on my website.
