FERN TANK

Short-row are used to shape a detailed collar that dresses up a fitted tank. Two different gauges and fibers add interest. Piece is knit in the round.

Finished Size 33 (37, 41, 45, 49, 53)" bust circumference. Tank shown measures 33".

Yarn Fibra Natura Good Earth (53% cotton, 47% linen; 204 yd [186 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #108 bok choy (MC), 2 (3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins. Fibra Natura Whisper Lace (70% wool, 30% silk; 440 yd [400 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #101 mallow (CC), 1 ball. Yarn distributed by Universal Yarn.

Needles Body—size 7 (4.5 mm): 24" circular (cir) and set of double-pointed (dpn).

Collar—size 1½ (2.5 mm): two 24" cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle.

Gauge 16 sts and 22 rnds = 4" in Chevron patt on larger needles using MC; 28 sts and 36 rows = 4" in St st on smaller needles using CC.
