FINISHED SIZE About 22" circumference at base, 16" circumference at upper edge, and 9" tall including “roof ” lid, after felting. To fit an average teapot.
YARN Brown Sheep Company Shepherd’s Shades (100% wool; 131 yd [120 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #SS416 lemon juice (MC), 1 skein; #SS542 marsh grass (CC, dark gold), 1 skein. Brown Sheep Company Waverly Woolcolors (100% wool; 8 yd [7.3 m]/ oz [5.7 g]) mini-skein: 1 skein each of 9 colors: 7034w (dark gray), 1074w (light gray), 7131w (navy), 5013w (medium green), 5094w (light green), 2082w (violet), 2013w (rose), 3034w (peach), and 4081w (yellow).
NEEDLES Size 11 (8.0 mm): 16" circular (cir) and double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
NOTIONS Markers (m); stitch holders; tapestry needle; two ½" buttons.
GAUGE 11 sts and 20½ rows/rnds = 4" in St st, after felting.
