Big and Little Ski Sweaters. These festive ski sweaters are a exceptional way to start the holidays. You can create them for all shapes and sizes.

Finished Size 24 (30, 36, 42, 48, 54)" bust/chest circumference. Two smallest sizes will fit a 2 year old (6 year old). Sweaters shown measure 30" and 42".

Yarn GGH Wollywasch (100% superwash wool; 137 yd [125 m]/50 g): Woman’s: #161 dark charcoal (MC), #26 natural (CC1), #73 red (CC2). Child’s: #26 natural (MC), #161 dark charcoal (CC1), #73 red (CC2). You will need: 5 (6, 9, 10, 13, 16) balls of MC, 2 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5) balls of CC1, 1 ball of CC2 for all sizes, Yarn distributed by Muench Yarns.

Needles Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24", 32", or 40" circular (cir), depending on chosen size; 16" circular and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed (dpn). Size 3 (3.25 mm): 24", 32" or 40" circular, depending on chosen size; 16" circular; and set of 4 or 5 dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); sewing machine; tapestry needle.

Gauge 24 sts and 33 rnds = 4" in St st on larger needle.

My in-laws are Norwegian.  Maybe not this year, but I am going to research their roots in Bergen and ask Mom if I can see her Family Costume.  Hopefully I will be able to find a repeating pattern to give me an idea.
