MY FAVORITE STORE-BOUGHT SCARF IS AN OVERSIZED FABRIC RECTANGLE that I like to wear in a giant knot around my neck. I wanted to replicate the bulky look of that scarf without having to crochet a rectangle. The cowl construction mirrors the shape of all that fabric, and the lofty stitches are quick to make.

Finished Size: 36" circumference and 15" high.

Yarn: Naturally Mist 1-ply (80% kid mohair, 20% nylon; 181 yd [166 m]/3⁄4 oz [25 g] ): #605, 3 skeins. Yarn distributed by Fiber Trends.

Hook: Size L/11 (8 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Removable marker (m); yarn needle.

Gauge: 8 FPdc and 4 rows = 4".

Skill Level: Beginner.

Tho I long the challenge of cables and difficult designs, this one is one I long to make and give to someone special, we must always come back to basics and this one is so special to me, thank you. Katee N Tx

Does anyone have the pattern for the "Moa Boa"?  Wear it like a cowl like this or streatch it out and it becomes a boa.
