i am an experinced knitter who tried to use this patter with an alternate yarn. it was a disaster. i found the pattern difficult to read and wondered if there was an error in the cable diagram? i have expereince with cables and ponchos. will think twice about using one of teva's patterns again, got 3/4 of the way done and ripped out the whole thing.
