These gloves will be perfect for next winter: The double layer of wool yarn created by knitting with two colors at a time makes them warm and sturdy. Coordinating the colored pattern with the glove shaping makes this a challenging project best suited for knitters experienced with multicolored knitting.

I have nearly finished the second glove now, cannot say there are no mistakes in my knitting of the palm pattern, but the back of the hands are perfect. I suffer from chilblains in the winter (Scotland Uk rather chilly, even now) I don't knit much nowadays as 4 children all grown up, but I enjoy the enthusiasm and shared interest of this website... I love it all and think i will do some more knitting soon. Thanks so much Ann PS looking for a Norwegian stye top to knit for next winter too

No problems with running Vista and being able to download patterns. Sorry some are having difficulties. Have these people tried running the download, then click on "file" in the upper left corner to save? Hope this works for some of you! I wish I could offer more help but some are stating only that they are having problems and not being specific. Love this pattern and can't wait to knit some up. Winter in Maine is over for now and I am so glad to have a great pattern and the coming summer months to make several pairs for some lucky friends! Thank you, as always, for the freebies! I truly appreciate them.

PDF Working perfectly with my Vista Premium 64 bit system - which is not always the case. May be something in your firewall that is stopping the pdf from happenin.

Thanks fo the gorgeous pattern! I have been looking for one like this for quite a while. I live in north central Maine so these will be great-it's been super cold here this winter and I like to wear gloves instead of mittens so these are perfect. Going to get the yarn right now! Thanks again.

These look cool, but I'm hesitant to start...the skill rating is 'easy' - right up my alley - but the description says "Coordinating the colored pattern with the glove shaping makes this a challenging project best suited for knitters experienced with multicolored knitting". I'm guessing the latter is more true than the former...

I knit my left glove while on a trip to Germany two years ago. I finally knit the right glove two weeks ago. This knits up very fast and is incredibly gorgeous when finished. Nancy Bush is truly a national treasure!

Thanks for providing the pattern to these beautiful gloves. I made these years ago and absolutely love them! My only problem is finding weather cold enough to wear them.....Deep in the Heart of Texas does not provide a lot of opportunities.

I've never done gloves, but it may be time to try! They would match my sweater. Thank you.
