WOW. I'm halfway through this shawl and so far it looks AMAZING! It's my first shawl and, first of all, it is the simplest chart I've ever worked with- logical, patterning on every alternate row, "usual" stitches like basic ssk and k2tog, short reps. The pattern is just stunning- it completely changed my mind about shawls being matronly or granny-ish! I'm making mine in a rich, bright ultramarine blue and combined with the gorgeous stitch pattern it has kind of an exotic, global feel. This pattern deserves to be re-printed in a book to keep forever.
