Finished Size 33 (36½, 40, 44, 48½)" bust circumference, with fronts overlapped about 6 (5¾, 6, 5, 4¾)" at bustline. Vest shown measures 33", modeled with about ½" positive ease.
Yarn Rowan Scottish Tweed DK (100% wool; 123 yd [112 m]/50 g): #019 peat (dark brown, MC), 5 (5, 6, 6, 7) balls; #025 oatmeal (CC), 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) balls. Yarn distributed by Westminster Fibers.
Needles Back and fronts textured patt—size 7 (4.5 mm). Front colorwork patt—size 8 (5 mm). Edgings—size 6 (4 mm): 24" and 16" circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Tapestry needle; scrap yarn; stitch holders; markers (m).
Gauge 19 sts and 26 rows = 4" in textured patt on middle-size needles; 21 sts and 21 rows = 4" in colorwork patts on largest needles.
