I knitted this using a method taught by Horst Shultz.  I never get bored knitting blocks...

I should add that I did not sew them together afterwards, the blocks were not knitted separately. I knitted them together, casting on stiches using the previous block...something like that.  Not perfect, but fun!

LesleyI:  I learnt this method last year and love the concept.  At present attending 2-part course to make a blanket using double shell shapes.  I am a senior citizen living in Cape Town, South Africa and must say that Horst's system has renewed my interest in knitting and in addition to the blanket, I am busy knitting my first pair of socks.
