This sweater had several new stitches and techniques for me to try with a great lace pattern to keep it interesting the whole way through. I did have some challenges with shaping the hood with short rows but thanks to some help on the KD "How To" site I way able to get through it pretty well after several tries. The cross over v-neck turned out closer to the neck than I had expected but makes for a cozy feel. I could have made the sweater longer in length but was very pleased to see the I-cord bind off does really prevent the hem line from rolling up. I would make this sweater again using better yarn. The one pictured is made of an acrylic and mohair blend that I had and wanted to use up.

What a lovely job, I've been tinkering with the idea of making this one up.  Glad to hear that the i-cord really does prevent roll-up ... I always wondered about that idea!
