This was knit with Brown Sheep Company worsted weight wool. I LOVE this throw!
That is really, really good.
I feel the warmth just looking at the picture.
I can't begin to estimate how many individual stitches are in that, how long did it take you?
Hi Heidi - wow this looks really lovely!
I should imagine it's a firm favourite with everyone. Is there any way I could get a copy of this pattern? I live in the UK and can't get hold of the book you've mentioned previously...
Well done you!
The pattern is in a book called Big Needle Knit Afghans.
published in 2004 by the House of White Birches.
Where did this pattern appear, I would love to buy the pattern too.
Thank you! I was a still a pretty new knitter when I knitted this afghan, so it was a little hard. I had never worked with more than one color at a time, and just dove in and did the best I could. Now I know there is an easier way to carry the color you aren't working with, but then I didn't. Still it was fun to make.
I would be happy to share the pattern with you. Do you have a regular email address? I could just scan the pattern and email it to you as an attachment.
This is a beautiful blanket "Tranformers" blanket. You did such a beautiful job on it.
Was it hard to knit?
Where did you get the pattern from? Can you share the pattern with me? I am a very beginning knitter, so this pattern may be too difficult for me. Do you think so?
Please email me soon.
