These intermediate mittens are worked in the round with Fair Isle colorwork techniques. Reversing the fore and background colors makes for a subtle asymmetry, and afterthought thumbs are easy to work.

Yarn Tahki Sedona (90% merino, 10% silk; 108 yd [100 m]/50 g):
• #002 denim (A), 1 skein
• #003 tobacco gold (B), 1 skein
Gauge 24 sts and 26 rnds = 4" in stranded patt

• Size 6 (4 mm): set of 5 double-pointed needles (dpn)
