Woman's sweater can be worn as a cardigan, or pullover with buttons down the back. Cables, texture patterns, a sophisticated tweed yarn, set-in sleeves, seaming, a narrow waist band, and refined shaping make for an engaging knit and classic fit.

Finished Size 36½ (40, 44, 47½, 51½)" bust circumference. Sweater shown measures 40", modeled with plenty of positive ease, as a front-buttoning cardigan.
Yarn Classic Elite Portland Tweed (50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose; 120 yd [110 m]/50 g): #5077 folkestone, 9 (10, 11, 13, 14) balls.
Needles Sizes 8 (5 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• four 1" and two ⅞" buttons.
Gauge 17 sts and 24 rows = 4" in simple texture patt on larger needles; 23 sts and 23 rows = 4" in trinity patt on larger needles; 17 sts of cable panel = 2¼" wide.
