Easy knitted pillows with stripes and big button closure. Mix two silk blend yarns for a luxurious home item. You'll need an 18" by 18" pillow insert

Finished Size 18¼" square, after blocking.
Yarn Blue Moon Fiber Arts Peru (50% alpaca, 30% merino, 20% silk; 500 yd [457 m]/226 g): mossay (yellow-green; MC), 1 skein. Blue Moon Fiber Arts Silkmo (64% kid mohair, 20% mulberry silk, 16% nylon; 794 yd [726 m]/106 g): winter solstice (light gray; CC), 1 skein.
Needles Size 6 (4 mm): 24" circular (cir). Size 4 (3.5 mm): 24" cir and set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions
• Tapestry needle;
• one 2¼" button;
• 18" × 18" pillow insert.
Gauge 21 sts and 28 rows = 4" in St st on larger needles, after blocking, before inserting pillow form. The pillow form distorts gauge slightly.

the yarn you used is very similar to yarn a friend of mine once dyed. I used it to knit a handbag.  turned out awfully cool.  this pillow is darling.  like to make it...
