WooHOO! The light came on last night and I have figured it out.  I LOVE THIS PATTERN!

So, I am now wondering if I am going to get a response to my question.  Where should I go to ask this?

I am confused on the back chart.  At what row do I decrease for the underarms?  The text says to "Work Rows 9-16 of chart between m. Move M as before--57 sts between m. Work Rows 9-12 of chart between m."  I'm lost with working 9-16 and 9-12?

I am modifying it to knit in the round, making the smallest size.  I really love the way the cables accent the shoulders and bust.  Thanks for the great pattern, Lisa!

I love this pattern and wonder if it would be too difficult to knit in the round?

Now this is a great looking vest, it has nice details and I not only downloaded it, I have pulled the yarn from my stash and have started it. I don't like to look like an idiot or have people laughing hysterically as I walk by That seems to be the only aim of many young women these days.  Thank you so much for tasteful designs.

Hi ladies,

Here are the sizing notes from the pattern--if you download the pdf they're part of the Notes section. hope this helps!

This garment is designed to be worn with negative ease at the bust and positive ease over the belly and hips. The bust size is relevant, but the hip/hem measurement is just as important for choosing a size; the deep neckline can adjust for up to 10" of negative ease across the bust. The sizes are intended for women with about 37 (41, 46, 49)" actual bust measurement and 38 (42, 47, 51)" actual hip measurement.

I'm modeling the 31.5" sample photographed above, and I have a 42" bust.

Are the  bust, hip and ease measurements correct?

A 27" bust?  Is that a misprint?  A 40.5" bust with a 55" hip?  The sizes seem a little out of what to me.

I can think of a couple of friends to make this for.  Cables and lace together sound like my kind of project.
