Knitted lace scarf worked in one piece in a handpainted wool yarn. An elastic bind-off allows the top edge to scallop like the bottom end. The lace pattern is worked from charts.

Yarn Twisted Sisters Impressionist Zazu (100% merino; 390 yd [356 m]/50 g): ballerina blues, 1 skein. Yarn distributed by Yarnmarket.com
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• tapestry needle.
Gauge 13 sts and 15 rows = 2" in lace patt st, after blocking; 12 sts and 19 rows = 2" in St st, before blocking.
