Knitted with Alchemy Yarns Silken Straw. This slowed me down some. I was able to block the yarn by pressing it with a somewhat hot iron. I used a stitch marker and placed it where the pattern repeats for the first time, so when the decrease are made I know where within the pattern to begin. It can get some what confusing and I had to pull out rows because I messed up the pagnation of the pattern stitches. And because the yarn is silk, it is slippery and when I pulled out that work I had to start again.

It took some time to get used to the feel of this yarn. I used bamboo needles.

This is lovely.  Well done using such fine yarn.  It can be frustrating  using a fine slippery yarn and intricate pattern but the results are so rewarding.  Beautiful.
