These earflap hats feature full lining and Fair Isle stranded colorwork. Because of the lining, the hats are reversible—wear with the colorwork showing, or the plain one-color side showing. Practice cast-ons, picking up stitches, shaping, and reading charts.

Finished Size 20 (22)" head circumference. Gray hat shown in smaller size; orange hat shown in larger size.
Yarn Misti Alpaca Worsted (100% alpaca; 109 yd [118 m]/50 g): #M600 autumn woods mélange (A); #2105 moss gray mélange (B); #7912 forest green worsted (C). Size 20": Color B (MC), 3 skeins; colors A and C, 1 skein each. Size 22": color A (MC), 3 skeins; colors B and C, 1 skein each.
Needles Outer hat—size 6 (4 mm): 16" circular (cir) and set of 5 double-pointed (dpn). Lining—size 4 (3.5 mm): 16" cir and set of dpn. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge 24 sts and 30 rows = 4" in St st in the rnd on larger needle; 26 sts and 32 rows = 4" in St st in the rnd on smaller needle.

ooohhh I have a couple male members of the family that would love these!  Guess I need to run out tomorrow morning and get this mag.  and get busey knitting some hats for Christmas.
