Easy first-time tube socks for a beginning sock knitter. Worked in the round with worsted weight yarn on larger needles without a heel with an easy overall pattern.

Finished Size 7 (9)" foot circumference and 17¼ (15)" long from CO to tip of toe; to fit a woman’s small (large). Socks shown in larger size.
Yarn Louet Gems Worsted (100% merino; 175 yd (160 m)/100 g): mustard, 2 skeins (Note: This color has been discontinued; the manufacturer suggests goldenrod as a substitute).
Needles Size 7 (4.5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

• Tapestry needle.
Gauge 13 sts and 17 rnds = 2" in patt st in the rnd.
