I just started this project, but there seems to be an issue with the left border. What I have is that row 1: Ssk, yo, k2, yo, k2tog, yo, k2. this equals 7 stitches but there are 8 set aside for this. It looks like all the rows are off by 1 stitch.

Can you help... Thank you so much.

I was considering making this scarf, but then had trouble figuring out exactly how much yarn I would need.  The JaggerSpun Zephyr Wool-Silk 2/18 is NOT DK#3 weight.  Do I double this lace weight yarn and get 2 skeins????  Also there is no guage??

Thanks for any help.
