I am 1/2 way on the Chuppah. I won't be working on it for a while because I have to go get more yarn, so there won't be another picture for a while. It is nice because you can really start to see the design. This is 1/4 of the chuppah.

A Chuppah (חוּפָּה) is a Jewish symbol of the home. Like the tent of Abraham, the chuppah is open on four sides to represent hospitality. This symbolic home is empty except for the new couple - a reminder that in the home, it is the people within it, not the possessions, that matter. The pattern was from the Interweave Magazine from Summer 2007 (page 49, 118-121).
