This pretty design by Mavis Adam is perfect for your handspun! There are two versions, one that knits at 6 sts per inch and one that knits at 5 sts per inch (but you can actually use any weight yarn!).

The Button-Up Neck Warmer originally appeared in the Summer 2009 issue of Spin-Off magazine.

I notice that many people cannot download this pattern. Would it be possible to send it as a pdf file?

pdf documents can be glitchy to open sometimes.  Try "Save as" and save to your desktop, and then open the document from there.  This will usually work for me even with fussy documents.

I couldn't download this either. Could Interweave send a pdf to me? I love this idea, esp to use up yarn. Thanks.

I like this idea.  You could even make it lightweight for warmer weather use.  I even think  it would look good to add length after the buttons so the scarf could stay in place.

Thanks for the free download.
