This cozy sweater demonstrates three different methods for creating the illusion of knitted cables without actually cabling: The largest motif uses I-cord woven through eyelets for a mock-cable effect. The reversible phony cable on the hood, which requires no cable needle, resembles smocking. The two-color edging is applied during finishing.
