Nice work!

I found it easier  casting the stitches out of a medium weight cotton (in case you work with 26G wire, thinner if wire is also thinner), and work the first row of stitches.  The wire is introduced in the second row, and worked all through.  When finished, or even before, the cotton can be cut out, leaving a cleaner row of wire that is more condusive to attaching a clasp.  The loops can be gathered onto a link and toggle the other end.
