Combine your knitting and crocheting skills! Make it for a baby boy or for a baby girl (with a flower). Seamless and knit in the round, this is just way too easy and fast. The brim and optional flower are crocheted using single, double and half-double crochet stitches. This is a great way to use up all that scrap yarn lying around. : )

It will fit infants up to age one because of its stretchiness. The circumference is 13" with stretch up to 18".  Brim down, it is 7", and brim folded, it is 5.5".

My yarn suggestion is Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in #4 (med) weight. It is so soft, and it machine washes perfectly. I generally lay my finished items flat to dry.

The pattern (pdf file) is available on My shop is Route 45 (route45).
