Whether you're a brand new knitter wondering where to start, or an accomplished knitter looking for inspiration, you've come to the right place. The new Knitting Daily TV Series 600 features tips and techniques for making one-of-a-kind knit and crochet projects and for taking your skills to the next level. Plus this season features a block-buster lineup of celebrity knitters and crocheters, such as Yumiko Alexander, KT Baldassaro, Marlaina Bird, Laura Bryant, Amy Butler, Robyn Chachula, Colleen East, Miriam Felton, Louisa Harding, Adina Klein, Barry Klein, Carl Koop, Debbie Macomber, Deborah Norville, Lisa Shroyer, Penny Sitler, Becca Smith, Deb Robson, Debbie Stoller, and Ysolda Teague.

In the very first episode of Series 600, Eunny starts off with the Getting Started segment and helps novice knitters get comfortable with selecting a pattern and starting their first project. Next, the Designer Spotlight is on location with best-selling novelist and knitter Debbie Macomber. She talks about combining her two great passions: writing and knitting. Then, on Crochet Corner, expert Kristin Omdahl gets back-to-basics for crocheters with a lesson on reading charts and symbols. On the How-To lesson, TV anchor and celebrity knitter Deborah Norville joins Eunny to demonstrate some simple-to-finish projects. Finally, Eunny has a quick tip on using highlighters and Post-It notes to code a pattern for quick reference.

I too, would like to know where or if  the show is on TV locally.   I live in Arizona and local TV station would be out of Phoenix and do have satilite also where would I tune in at?  I would sure like to watch everyday.   I used to tune in on HGTV with Vickie Howell at 4:00 AM but it must had cancelled or something.  I just don't care for all the "make over you house" deals... I rather watch a knitting show or a craft show.

I watched the episode yesterday ( 1-15-11 ) here in New Orleans. Kristin croched a red lacey pattern scarf or shawl. Can't seem to find the pattern anywhere on your site please help! Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Please. I know Red Heart is a sponsor. And I know Kristin O is their spokesperson. But you simply have to stop letting her interview knitters. She is a bubblehead - a charming, and I am sure, lovely person - but a bubblehead when it comes to interviewing. I just watched her ask Jared Flood about his Fair Isle Tams - "Is this a new technique?" Yikes. And when you combine that with the absolutely hideous things she demonstrates in crochet, this is dangerously close to becoming The Kristin O show. I used to link to things on Knitting Daily TV on my yarn store's Facebook page as  way to get customers connected to cool things they could come in and shop for. No more. Please fix this.
